Cedar pollen season in Central Texas is the worst.

It’s particularly bad this year. I don’t have the flu (this is confirmed), but I am getting kicked by this cedar pollen pretty bad. It’s draining. I actually am tempted to stop the cut diet and such for the sake of coping with all of this, but no… right now I’m just willing to eat a bit more. Like yesterday was technically a low-carb day, but I allowed myself a bit more to try to give my body a little more fuel right now as it works through this. If things just stay stable for now, fine… it’s how it goes.

That said, today was kinda stable compared to last week. Because of the allergy issues I did not rate the last session a 1, so sets stayed stable here. And my performance relative to the last session of this was about the same. But all to be expected given the circumstances.

I did notice a bit of fullness in my muscles this morning (hooray carbs!), and so I’m starting to think about how to progress from here. Even though I really want to get back to heavier lifting, I’m giving serious thought to running the MPT again. I think it’d be more educational to me in the long run to do so. Not decided, but starting to lean that way.
