20 rep sets of squats are brutal, they’re a great way to get some lifting and cardio done at the same time.
Yah. One of these days I want to so some 20-rep squat programs. Sticking with my 5/3/1 because it’s working well for me, but it’s on my list of things to do one of these days.
i always loved the Mark Rippetoe quote about them:
“Trust me, if you do an honest 20 rep program, at some point Jesus will talk to you. On the last day of the program, he asked if he could work in.”
