Some may not say Cheap Trick is heavy metal and sure, they aren’t Deicide. But without Cheap Trick a lot of metal, especially the glam/hair stuff, wouldn’t exist.

Cheap Trick had a bigger influence on Spinal Tap than on LA hair metal. And I mean that in a good way. It’s not fair to burden Cheap Trick with responsibility for the musical abomination that was LA hair metal.
