Sunday Metal – Tesla

Tesla “Caught in a Dream”

One of my favorite songs, because of the message:

Forget color, forget race, and just be one big happy face
Among this sea of people, live among God’s creatures, sharing love
That was sent down from above, here to share with one another
Father, brother, sister, mother, everybody sharing love, sharing love

I’m caught up in a dream, I’m gonna wish for it all
No one’s gonna tell me how, no way, this is my dream now
I’m caught up in what seems simply impossible
I ain’t gonna change a thing, no way, it’s my dream, this is my dream

I close my eyes and everything will be alright
Here in my fantasy, living in harmony
Make my dream come alive

Be love.

A new year is upon us.

And I ain’t gonna change a thing. Because THIS is my dream.

Make this dream come alive in 2017.

Share love.

Sunday Metal – Crazy Lixx

HA HA HA!

I never heard of these guys until I was YouTubing around for Sunday Metal entries. They’ve actually been around for some time, big in Sweden it would seem.

It’s like a perfect snapshot of late-80’s hair metal, frozen in time. They should tour with Steel Panther.

“All Looks, No Hooks”

Sunday Metal – The Dead Daisies

I liked John Corabi back when he was in “The Scream”, and I think the album he did with Mötley is probably their best, musically speaking.

So here’s his new project, The Dead Daisies, with “Long Way To Go”

Sunday Metal – Def Leppard

For sure, later day Def Leppard isn’t “metal” in any sense of the word. But their first 3 albums shaped and influenced a lot of hard rock (and metal) that came after. Of course, all of that changed with album #4 (and quite awesome for them, but after that point the band was no longer “dangerous”).

Forever shall I love the drum fill at 1:24 in “Photograph”. It only lasts a second, but it sounds awesome.
