Another gem from the YouTube rabbit hole.
This is Sleep, live at Hellfest 2013.
When I write these Sunday Metal posts, I spend a lot of time on YouTube, which of course provides a lot of suggested other videos. Some are crap, and some are gems.
Here’s a gem. Weedeater, performing a full set at the St. Vitus Bar on May 23, 2016.
Here’s a full live set from Darkest Hour, recorded February 21, 2017 @ the St. Vitus Bar.
Darkest Hour has been around for a while, but it wasn’t until their 2017 album Godless Prophets and the Migrant Flora that I started listening to them.
I like what I hear.
This is “Those Who Survived”
So I’ve been digging the new album from The Obsessed. On it, they cover Thin Lizzy’s “It’s Only Money”, which got me spinning some Thin Lizzy again.
Here’s a live performance by Thin Lizzy of “It’s Only Money”
Yes, I’ve been digging the new album from The Obsessed.
This is “Sacred”
The mighty The Obsessed is back with a new album, Sacred.
This is “Punk Crusher”
Ice-T and Ernie C are back with 2017’s “Bloodlust”.
This is #NoLivesMatter
This is Anthrax’s 2016 Bloodstock performance.
I’ve seen Anthrax numerous times over the years, and seeing them back in Oct. 2016 I think they were the tightest and best sounding I’ve ever heard from them.
One more Obituary. This is their 2015 performance at Hellfest.
