  1. Back in the late 80s/early 90s, I had a female friend that would drag me out to a bar in Arlington called Metalworks.

    She wanted an escort since she didn’t like going to bars alone and I was a good friend she would point to as her “boyfriend”.

    Most of the shows she dragged me to were a local band called Pantera. I was old before my time, the music was too loud for me 🙂 but it was okay for what it was.

    Imagine my surprise when a few years later I started hearing Pantera on national radio.
