Yeah… I want to get that DVD. As much as I’m a proponent for the AR-15 man… something about the shotgun is singing to me.

Ok, that bit at about 03:28 was just hilarious.
When the guy pulls out the knife? Yeah, that was amusing.
So now you see why we have an AR and Shotgun as the his and hers bedside guns. With the AR I can deal with 4 legged varmints and misbeHaven can deal with the up close and personal ones.
Never misunderestimate the awesome power of a ported 20Ga with a dot site and extended mag tube. She will out shoot you every time. Especially if she is still on crutches and in pain every time she hobbles up to the line to shoot. Something about harnessing the pain…….
Oh, we have a few shotguns in stragegic locations… they’ve been part of the home-defense setup since day 1. But you know… you take classes like Defensive Long Gun, you listen to Hamilton and Holschen, and you lean towards that AR for your blanket social tool. And there’s reasoning to that.
But when that incident happened a few months ago, my gut wasn’t to grab the AR but to grab the shotgun. Since then I’ve been wanting to explore that emotion more deeply.
The trouble now for me is… only so much money so… do I want to further the shotgun route? finally get that Aimpoint for my AR? buy an M&P pistol? Gah… too many choices. 🙂
