That was one of the worst feelings I’d ever felt, when Dad told me Dime was killed that day many years ago.
I was fortunate to see him in concert twice, and man, both were the best shows I’ve ever seen.
R.I.P. Dime!
I certainly didn’t know Dime, but I did get to meet him once during early an CBH tour (they were opening for Wrathchild America at The Bayou in Washington DC). He was the nicest guy, so friendly, so willing to take the time to talk with you while everyone else was more concerned with where the weed and booze was. Just so nice.
It’s terrible what happened; he didn’t deserve it.
Which reminds me… I was so busy today I forgot to have my Blacktooth Grin. I need to go remedy that now.
