In rep Browns district and sent him an e-mail to let him know he needs to support this. I think all should contact their rep and either thank them for supporting this or ask why they are not. I posted my reply over at JR’s. This one is personal as I work for the Univ and am forced to disarm because of the campus carry prohibition.
I would be curious to know why he shifted his position, especially when you consider the district he represents (both the people that live there, and the university).
