What would a rash of metal covers be without a cover (or two) of the Sex Pistol’s “Anarchy in the UK”?

Here’s Megadeth’s version:
Judas Priest covering Joan Baez’s “Diamonds and Rust”.
I actually like Priest’s version better than Joan’s original, and I like this acoustic “power ballad” version best of all the ways they’ve performed it.
Scorpions covering The Who’s “Can’t Explain”
New Testament album, “Dark Roots of Earth” comes out at the end of the month.
I’m having a hard time waiting for it. 🙂 It’s been in the works for over a year.
First track off the album, “True American Hate”
I know. It’s not Sunday Metal time, but I’ve been listening to this track over and over and it’s awesome.
W.A.S.P. covering The Who’s “The Real Me”
Yeah, one last one for June.
Jaymz singing “Stone Cold Crazy” with Queen, and Tony Iommi!
Yes, more Metallica. Deal with it.
Covering Bob Seger’s “Turn the Page”
Love the original. I dig what they were trying to do with this video, but I don’t really like it. Kinda takes away from the original song, but also adds to it in its own way.
In Honor of Her Majesty’s 60th (and still in line with my current theme of metal bands doing cover tunes)… a special Sunday Metal salute from Motörhead, covering “God Save The Queen”
(h/t Karl)
Face it. Metallica recorded a lot of great covers.
Here’s some footage off the Puppets tour, with Cliff on bass covering Diamond Head’s “Am I Evil?”
Metallica covering the “Anti-Nowhere League” favorite “So What?”
