Flow

Flow with whatever may happen and let your mind be free: Stay centered by accepting whatever you are doing. This is the ultimate.

  1. Mr. Tzu probably didn’t have a McJob or children to raise. Being free of those earthly distractions makes “flow” much easier to attain.

    • Indeed.

Still, I found it a useful reminder for myself to be “in the moment”. I might be lifting and be thinking about my next set, or the assistance work, or whatever I’m going to deal with at work later in the day… when I should be right here, right now, thinking about the weight presently on my back.

Or, it can work in shooting too, That I should be thinking about the shot right now, the front sight right now, instead of what’s to come.
