  1. Karl’s newsletters are always very informative. I thought is was an interesting to contrast the shooting we talked about earlier regarding the New Hampshire homeowner who fired a gun into the ground and held a burglar for the police. That homeowner was arrested, charged with reckless endangerment, and had all of his firearms confiscated. Then I read Karl’s linked story about a San Antonio man who fired several shots at a thief who was stealing potted plants. The thief was apparently grazed in the head by a bullet, but the spokesman for the San Antonio Police Department said “At this point he is protected because he was trying to prevent theft on his property.” Go Texas!!
