1. A tidbit we learned in the Academy “Everyone always has a deadly weapon on them.”

   Why?

   Because it is true! Pens, pencils, bobby pins, belts, car keys, etc can all be deadly weapons. It’s easy to sharpen the edge of a credit card enough to cut a person.

   But banning pencils? I think it is just someone has it out for pencils, for whatever reason. Which, since it a school, it’s easy to tout it as a weapon. Because after all, It’s For The Children.

   • Heck, what about hands and feet? let’s ban them to truly keep the children safe.

     *sigh*

2. A Massachusetts school district
