WordPress.com seems to be having problems this morning. I can’t get into the admin area (http redirects to https then hangs). I can view the blog, just can’t admin things.
But there’s this “quickpress” thing… trying it to see if it does anything.

OK, that posted… but it’s not going to be adequate to get me going. I’ve got a post in progress I wanted to publish today. Until I can get into the admin area well… just have to be in a holding pattern. Bleah.
Hmm, not having any problems getting into WordPress Admin.
Strange.
Are you hosted on wordpress.com? or are you using a local (wordpress.org) hosting?
I’m using wordpress.com’s system.
However, it looks like it may be better… I’m writing this from within the admin area, so maybe it was a known problem on their end that’s resolved now? We’ll see….
Nope, I’m hosting offsite and on my own domain name.
Guess I can be thankful that I raised a web savvy kid 🙂
It’s my own lazy fault. I always intended to host this at my hsoi.com site but I first needed to transition from their old servers to their new ones, which I put off for the longest time… wanted to get on the blog sooner rather than later… and so I started at wordpress.com.
It’s got a lot of disadvantages, but one advantage? Google considers it more strongly in page rankings, which has some nice benefits too.
