Google Labs has a tool called “Browser Size” to help you optimize your web page layouts. (h/t to Linoge)
It’s my plan to move my blog from wordpress.com hosting to being hosted at hsoi.com in the not-to-distant future, and something like the Browser Size tool can help me when I pick a new theme and layout for the blog.
So this is really just a glorified bookmark for myself. 🙂
Looks like you fall into the same 95% block I do…
Of course, I still cannot believe that some people voluntarily browse the ‘net with windows that small!
I can’t believe it either, but I know some people have hung onto old equipment, especially monitors…. makes sense from a cost perspective. But still, all that they’re missing out on!
Funny thing is, I’m in the market to buy a new iMac for the family. Seeing those new 27″ ones at the store? Gah… I dare say they’re too big for general computing use. Makes for a gorgeous “media hub” tho.
Half the fun is trying out new themes. They super easy to customize. Heck a few friends and I designed our own from scratch for http://eatsbbq.com.
Nice theme!
I figure if I’m going to do it right, I’m going to need a few days just for fiddling with themes. Main reason I want to move to my own domain is because it makes more sense long-term, but also because then I can fully customize the thing.. themes, plugins, and all.
