Great read. It can happen to you, to me, to anyone. The only thing we can do is be prepared, that means armed and ready, even in your own home.

The unfortunate thing is many people refuse to be prepared, many thinking it will never happen to them.
I sincerely hope I go my whole life and nothing major every happens to me. I’ve had some minor things and perhaps some things that could have been major if I hadn’t been aware and dealt with it (e.g. left quickly, etc.). As the old saying goes…. shit happens.
