A profound truth indeed. Yet, no verifiable source for the attribution to Franklin as its author can be found.
Much like Samuel Clemens, Mr. Franklin is often given credit for words of wisdom that he never actually said or wrote.
Yeah, all too often that sort of thing happens. No snopes entry on this one. 😉
Regardless of attribution, the message is a good one.
