This is a powerful article! It’s great to see large news periodicals like Fox News and the LA Times reporting truth. http://tinyurl.com/c7e8pg
Hey John,
I punched out an update from where Fox left off. http://gungeekrants.blogspot.com/2009/04/mexican-gun-canard-continues.html
Despite the word getting out, the Senate passes a bill giving much funding for specifically weapons enforcement along the border. Still bitterly clinging to their lies and legislation.
*sigh*
John, do you happen to have the bill number for that?
It’s just typical politician stuff. They have to do something, right? Gotta look like we’re doing something so we can all feel good about ourselves. It accomplishes nothing worthwhile, but that doesn’t matter… it’s all about acting important and feeling accomplished. Oh, and thinking of the children.
It would almost, almost be worth it to see the ban, just to see how they could justify it after the number of guns and weapons will continue to increase after the ban is enacted. Maybe then people would wake up and take a good look around.
While I understand your sentiment, I wouldn’t want to go there. Thing is, history has demonstrated time and time again that bans don’t solve the problem the banners claim will be solved by banning. Yet, they ban anyway. You know what they say about insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. It’s just a shame we’ve got so many insane people….
