But in the end… I’m “just some guy.” I don’t consider myself to be anyone special, but my self-esteem is just fine.

In your bio, you mention ‘teacher.’ Have you taught in public schools? I do, here in Illinois, but we’d much rather be down south, preferably Texas. How’s the teaching job market these days (if you don’t mind me asking)?

No, never taught in public schools. My teaching has been other things, like homeschooling my kids, Cub Scout Den Leader, martial arts instructor, firearms instructor, etc..
Sorry, but I don’t know much about the job market in the public school system is down here. 😦

Just read your 9mm tests with Berry’s bullets. There is some good stuff in your report. What problems did you have with Berry’s? I also learned some things I needed to know about loading my XD 4″ and XD 5″ Tactical. Thanks. I’m in the Peoples Republic of Northern California. I’ll be going to my 1st NRA convention in 2018. If you are there too, wave your hat and I’ll buy you a beer.

I did that work a LONG time ago, and honestly I don’t recall the Berry’s problems. I THINK it may be that sometimes they didn’t seat right so they’d wind up squishing/shaving.

Interesting you’ve been to Tom Givens. I’ve trained with him to along with such as Massad Ayoob, Ray Chapman, SouthNarc, etc…
And I agree.. while I do H2H practice, a gun is a better tool!
