Continuing to feel better. After hitting that 335x1 last week and it feeling really good save a bit of balance issue, I opted to go for it again. First, every setup I need to get a bit more under the bar to be properly centered and balanced (SSB difference) from the start. Then just TIGHT torso throughout. I liked how everything moved. I wanted to go for 3 and it came easily. Nice.

Bench tho. My pecs continue to feel weird. I’m not really sure of the cause. Opted to drop volume and just work up singles. I feel it more on later reps so… singles right? Everything just kept feeling good, too good. So I went with it. Hitting 3 wheels without planning or trying for it was pretty cool. Benching 3 plates had been a goal, and today by chance I achieved it. Hell yeah.

That’s enough being sick. Back to the gym. I opted to take today easy. Just squat and bench some to get back into the groove.

Taking a longer ramp up on squats felt good. I’ve long been thinking I need more warmup on my squats. 🤔

The top 335 is the most I’ve ever done SSB (which isn’t saying much as I’ve only been using an SSB for about a month). I had some balance issues, but such is the SSB throwing you forward. I continue to grow to like the SSB…

Bench. Hmm. Felt a little annoyance in my left pec. Ugh. Just as my right was feeling better. 😕 Stopped the work up. Oh well.
